I took this photo around 6 a.m. from our balcony when we were on vacation in Virginia Beach. I waited until the timing was just right for the sailboat to be in line with the sun's cast of light on the ocean. Oh, how I wanted this photo to turn out just right and it did.

I was born in Pennsylvania and now reside in New York state with my husband. I've been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. As a young girl I took pictures of my family and friends. As I got older I began to favor taking photos of scenery, sunrises, sunsets, nature(including wildlife) and unusual things.
